Accreditation Statement

In support of improving patient care, activities within the Wound Care Today USA CME/CE Center are planned and implemented by CineMed and Wound Care Today USA. CineMed is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.

Credit Designation

Physicians: CineMed designates each enduring or live activity for AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)™. The number of credits available varies by activity. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.

- Nurses: Nursing contact hours are awarded based on activity length and content. The number of hours varies by activity.

- Other Healthcare Professionals: All other healthcare professionals will receive a Certificate of Participation. For applicability and acceptance, please consult your professional licensing board.

Support

Some activities are supported by independent educational grants. Any such support will be disclosed at the activity level.

Disclosures

All planners, faculty, and staff in control of content are required to disclose any relevant financial relationships. All relevant financial relationships are mitigated prior to the activity. Disclosure information will be provided with each activity.

Who is eligible to participate?

These accredited activities are designed for physicians, surgeons, nurses, wound care specialists, and other healthcare professionals who manage patients with wounds and related conditions.

How many CME/CE credits are available?

The number of credits varies by activity. Please refer to the individual activity page or syllabus for credit designation details.

How do I claim my certificate?

After completing an activity and the evaluation form, participants may claim CME/CE credit online. A link to the certificate portal is provided within each activity page.

How long do I have access to an activity?

On-demand activities are typically available for one year from their release date. Check the activity’s accreditation information for release and expiration dates.

Are these activities free?

Yes. All CME/CE activities in the Wound Care Today USA CME/CE Center are provided at no cost to participants.

How do I know if an activity is accredited?

Accredited activities will display the joint accreditation statement and credit designation. Non-accredited educational offerings will be clearly labeled.

What are the technical requirements?<

A modern browser and a reliable internet connection (at least 4Mbps) are recommended. Certificates are typically provided as downloadable PDFs, which require a PDF reader.
